El mètode per a què les correccions de teclat sigui permanent és el següent, a la font pots trobar com fer-ho per arreglar-ho temporalment.

Primer fe tot cal crear (o editar en cas que existeixi) el fitxer hid_apple.conf:

  1. gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf
Afegim aquesta línia:
  • options hid_apple fnmode=2
Desem el fitxer i executem aquesta comanda:
  1. sudo update-initramfs -u
Per tal de que la nova ocnfiguració tingui efecte cal reiniciar l'ordinador.]]>

Si algun cop heu provat d’usar un teclat d’Apple en una màquina amb Ubuntu haureu comprovat que algunes tecles no funcionen com estem acostumats, i fa un us diferent de la tecla “function” que ens pot arribar a molestar i tot.
